Malawi Has A National Rugby Team

Malawi finally has a National Rugby Team.

And the first Rugby Tournament will take place this Saturday in Blantyre.

Officials of the Malawi National Rugby side say the country is ready to face any country in the world.

But their main focus for now, they told Zachimalawi, is to raise public awareness on Rugby, and how the sport is suitable for the country.

Malawi has never had Rugby sides since independence. However, the coming in of people who once played Rugby in both African and European countries should be good news to Malawi Rugby enthusiasts.
